Shipping & delivery.

Every refurbished phone ships tracked express. We pack carefully, send the tracking number the same day we dispatch, and tell you straight up if anything changes.

Dispatch timeframe

Orders placed before 2pm AEST on a business day are dispatched the same day. Orders after 2pm or on weekends / Victorian public holidays go out the next business day.

If we ever hit a delay (rare - usually a last-minute QC reject we have to swap stock for), we'll email you within 24 hours with a new dispatch date or a full refund, your choice.

Carrier & service

  • Australia Post Express Post for all standard orders.
  • Signature on delivery for orders of $500 or more (no extra cost). Required - it's how we and Australia Post can recover the parcel if anything goes wrong.
  • Parcels are insured for the full order value while in transit.

Delivery timeframes

Express Post estimates from when Australia Post collects the parcel. These are Australia Post's published targets and they're not guaranteed:

  • Melbourne metro & Victoria: 1 business day.
  • Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra: 1 to 2 business days.
  • Brisbane, Hobart: 2 business days.
  • Perth, Darwin, regional: 3 to 5 business days.
  • Remote / outer regional: 5 to 7 business days. We'll email you if your postcode is one of these.

Shipping cost

Shown at checkout, inclusive of GST. Standard express is a flat fee Australia-wide; we publish it on the cart page before you commit. Promotional free shipping (when offered) is applied automatically.

If your parcel doesn't arrive

If a parcel is marked delivered but you don't have it, or it's been longer than the carrier's estimated timeframe with no movement:

  1. Check with anyone else at the address, and your local post office (they sometimes redirect to safe drop).
  2. If it's still missing 2 business days later, email hi@phonefetch.com.au with your order reference.
  3. We open an investigation with Australia Post (typically 5 to 10 business days). If they confirm the parcel is lost, we reship from stock or fully refund - your choice. Insurance covers us so there's no charge to you.

Delivery addresses we can't ship to

  • Australia Post PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers - signature-on-delivery doesn't work there for high-value items. Please use a residential or business street address.
  • International - we currently ship Australia only.

Changes to your shipping address

If you spot a typo or need to redirect your order, email us within 30 minutes of placing it - we'll usually have time to swap the label before pickup. After dispatch, you can request a redirection directly with Australia Post via MyPost.

Returns

If something arrives faulty or not as described, our returns policy covers the next steps. The Australian Consumer Law applies regardless of what's written here, so your statutory rights aren't limited by the timeframes above.
