PhoneFetch is a small Melbourne-run operation buying iPhones from locals, with Samsung phones and iPads coming soon. We focus on three things: fair prices, doorstep convenience, no bullshit.
Most buyback services either lowball you, charge hidden fees, or ship your phone interstate and take a week to pay. We meet you locally, inspect on the spot, and pay you before we leave with the phone.
How we price
Market data, not vibes.
The number
We track live Melbourne market data daily and adjust for your phone's exact specs and condition. Fair, market-tested offers, locked in for 7 days so the number you see is the number we pay. We keep a small margin to cover travel, refurbishment, and the risk of buying a phone we haven't seen yet.
At the door
What you see online is the price we'll pay if your phone matches your description. Better condition than described? We pay more. Worse? We negotiate on the spot, you can walk away anytime. No surprises, no shouting.
Who runs this
One van. One human.
Solo operator, real human.
Every pickup is done in person by the same person, that's me. I drive the van, do the inspections, and pay you on the spot. If you book once and I treat you well, I hope you'll book again or tell a friend.
After pickup
What happens to your phone
It gets factory-reset, inspected more thoroughly, repaired where needed, then resold either directly on Facebook Marketplace or to wholesalers. We never resell your data. We do a final wipe on receipt as a backstop, but please sign out of your accounts before pickup so it goes smoothly.
